Introduction
ABQ Education Group’s School: Azzan Bin Qais International School, Seeb International School, Sohar International School are the mobile Apps produced for the usage of ABQ parents and school management. These terms and conditions govern your use of the ABQ Education Group’s School: Azzan Bin Qais International School, Seeb International School, Sohar International School mobile App; by using this mobile App, you accept these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this mobile App.
Purpose of the App
This App is made only to ease the communication between the parent and the school. Private and secret or confidential data of any student shall not be shared or included or exhibited in this App. Its main objective is to alert real time notifications regarding events, circulars, emergency notices or emergency circulars, fee payment notifications or such other school related common notifications.
Who is entitled to use the App:
Either the father or the mother or both together shall use the App or in no case any other relative or person connected with the student shall use this App unless specific authorization to that affect is submitted to the school and the school authorities have Approved it. It is the duty of the authorized user to protect the username and password of the App confidential and the school authorities will not take any responsibility in case of any leakage of the user name and password from the user’s side.
User’s responsibility
- The user shall keep the user name and password confidential.
- In case of any discrepancy regarding the student’s data in the App, the user shall immediately contact the school authorities and do the necessary to correct the error.
- The user shall make sure that the phone number and the email address given in the school are correct. The school will not take any responsibility for not receiving a message because of incorrect information submitted to school.
- The user shall keep the user name and passwords confidential. The school is not responsible for any information leaked due to sharing of credentials.
- The user shall not share any information with any other person and the school will not take any responsibility if any information is shared by the user.
User’s responsibility to inform the leakage of data.
In the event of knowledge of any leakage of the data from the mobile App, the user shall report the same to the school authorities immediately. The school authorities shall take immediate steps to prevent further leakage and if necessary, to block the App until the Appropriate repair is done to the App. It is made clear that if the data leakage is due to the sharing of user name and password by the user, the school shall not take any responsibility on the consequences of such leakage.
Misusing the App or malpractice on the App
The school authorities shall take legal steps against any person or legal entity if such person or legal entity is found to misuse the App, or committing any malpractice on the App so as to deviate from the purpose of the App.

ABQ Education Group’s right to block the entire App in the event of suspected leakage
ABQ Education Group reserves the right to block the entire App in the event of leakage of data or any suspected leakage until the problem is fully rectified.
The authority to control the App and its rights
ABQ Education Group reserves the right to control the App at its discretion. All rights related to the App, its design, colour, pattern, intellectual property and ownership shall vest with ABQ Education Group.
License to use mobile App
Unless otherwise stated, ABQ Education Group and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the mobile App and material on the mobile App. Subject to the license below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved. You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the mobile App for your own personal use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions.
You must not:
- Republish material from this mobile App (including republication on another website);
- Share the details with any other third party or groups
- Sell, rent or sub-license material from the mobile App
- Show any material from the mobile App in public;
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on this mobile App for a commercial purpose;
- Edit or otherwise modify any material on the mobile App; or
- Redistribute material from this mobile App except for content specifically and expressly made available for redistribution.
Phone left Unattended
If the phone is left unattended and a third party uses the App on your behalf, the school is not responsible for any of the following
- Any information leaked or shared in this period
- For leakage of any information from the mobile App from the side of the user
- Any communication arising from a third party and the school has acted in response to this communication
- Any other unforeseeable circumstances arising out of such a situation
Acceptable use
You must not use this mobile App in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the mobile App or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the mobile App; or in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.
You must not use this mobile App to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software.
You must not conduct any systematic or automated data collection activities (including without limitation scraping, data mining, data extraction and data harvesting) on or in relation to this mobile App.
You must not use this mobile App to transmit or send unsolicited commercial communications.
You must not use this mobile App for any purposes related to marketing without ABQ EDUCATION GROUP’s express written consent.
Restricted access
Access to certain areas of this mobile App is restricted. ABQ EDUCATION GROUP reserves the right to restrict access to other areas of this mobile App or indeed this entire mobile App at ABQ EDUCATION GROUP’s discretion.
If ABQ EDUCATION GROUP provides you with a user ID and password to enable you to access areas of this mobile App or other content or services, you must ensure that the user ID and password are kept confidential. The school is not responsible for any leakage of your wards information due to sharing of your username or password.
ABQ EDUCATION GROUP may disable your user ID and password in ABQ EDUCATION GROUP’s sole discretion without notice or explanation.
Reasonableness
By using this mobile App, you agree that the exclusions and limitations of liability set out in this mobile App disclaimer are reasonable. If you do not think they are reasonable, you must not use this mobile App.
Unenforceable provisions
If any provision of this mobile App disclaimer is, or is found to be, unenforceable under Applicable law, that will not affect the enforceability of the other provisions of this mobile App disclaimer.
Indemnity
You hereby indemnify ABQ EDUCATION GROUP and undertake to keep ABQ EDUCATION GROUP indemnified against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including without limitation legal expenses and any amounts paid by ABQ EDUCATION GROUP to a third party in settlement of a claim or dispute on the advice of ABQ EDUCATION GROUP’s legal advisers) incurred or suffered by ABQ EDUCATION GROUP arising out of any breach by you of any provision of these terms and conditions, or arising out of any claim that you have breached any provision of these terms and conditions.
Breaches of these terms and conditions
Without prejudice to ABQ EDUCATION GROUP’s other rights under these terms and conditions, if you breach these terms and conditions in any way, ABQ EDUCATION GROUP may take such action as ABQ EDUCATION GROUP deems Appropriate to deal with the breach, including suspending your access to the mobile App and website, prohibiting you from accessing the mobile App and website, blocking computers using your IP address from accessing the mobile App and website, contacting your internet service provider to request that they block your access to the mobile App and portal.
Variation
ABQ EDUCATION GROUP may revise these terms and conditions from time-to-time. Revised terms and conditions will Apply to the use of this mobile App from the date of the publication of the revised terms and conditions on this mobile App. Please check this page regularly to ensure you are familiar with the current version.
Severability
If a provision of these terms and conditions is determined by any court or other competent authority to be unlawful and/or unenforceable, the other provisions will continue in effect. If any unlawful and/or unenforceable provision would be lawful or enforceable if part of it were deleted, that part will be deemed to be deleted, and the rest of the provision will continue in effect.
Entire agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and ABQ EDUCATION GROUP in relation to your use of this mobile App, and supersede all previous agreements in respect of your use of this mobile App
The clause to resolve any disputes through Oman courts.
Any dispute arising out of the creation, usage and all matters related to the App shall be subject to the laws of Sultanate of Oman and in case of any unsettled disputes the same shall be referred to the courts in Oman.
